healing with CBD
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a constituent in cannabis that is known for its therapeutic benefits. It is non-psychoactive, unlike its counterpart THC, and delivers no head change or high. CBD communicates with our internal endocannabinoid system to provide therapeutic effects. It is anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, and is known to have a wide range of benefits.
Why do people use CBD?
CBD is known for its variety of therapeutic benefits. People use CBD to treat ailments from epilepsy and seizure, anxiety attacks, inflammation, pain, and nausea. As laws around hemp and cannabis change, more research is allowed to be done on CBD and it’s medicinal effects, so we’re learning more about how this compound can help us heal every day.

Healing with CBD
Not all CBD is created equal, according to a study done by Pharmacology & Pharmacy journal, CBD from the cannabis plant has a wider range of benefits than pure CBD. This is because cannabis is rich in terpenes, and other compounds that have therapeutic benefits.
This is why I use CBD derived from organic cannabis flower. I infuse the cannabis flower into rich oils, like almond, avocado, jojoba, and coconut. The fats in these rich oils bind to the healing cannabinoids from the cannabis flower. This infusion method is superior to using isolated CBD, because it carries the full spectrum of beneficial compounds from the cannabis plant. I believe in WHOLE plant medicine, and using a hollistic approach to working with this healing plant.
My Local & Organic Promise
The only CBD I use in my products is grown organically and locally, in the beautiful Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. The CBD flower I use has been lab tested, to ensure it is mold, mildew, and pesticide free, and is completely safe for consumption and application.
